After high school I had originally decided to take a baseball scholarship to Brewton Parker College. While I was playing summer ball with the team I injured my knee for the fifth time and had to have a fifth knee surgery. I knew that my playing days were over so I decided to go to Georgia Southern University where I had already been accepted. Georgia Southern as always a top choice for me from the beginning because it was only twenty minutes from home and I had grew up watching Georgia Southern sports and loved the tradition that they had. I was in school for three years and I had to take some time off because I was unable to focus.
After five years out of school, I decided to return to Georgia Southern University in January 2013. I chose to come back to Georgia Southern because I still had the passion of being an Eagle and I wanted to finish what I started here. Also, Georgia Southern University is one of the top Sports Management programs in Georgia. I made a lot of great memories during my previous run at Georgia Southern and I knew that it was time for me to get back and focus on my school work one hundred percent. Another reason that I knew I would come back to Georgia Southern is because I had been out for five years and I did not want to have to transfer somewhere that I was not familiar with. Also, all I had to do was fill out a re-admittance application and that was it. I did not have to worry about my credits transferring and trying to figure out if I could get financial aid at another university. In my heart I have always been an Eagle and always will be! The things that I went through and encountered at Georgia Southern University over the years has helped mold and make me into the man I am today. I have no regrets and I am focused on the endless possibilities that life has in store for me in the future as a Georgia Southern graduate!
